Area 4 partners and the government of Mozambique inaugurate the MozUP Enterprise Development Center MAPUTO, Mozambique – ExxonMobil Moçambique, Limitada, on behalf of Mozambique Rovuma Venture and the Area 4 partners, today inaugurated the Maputo office of the MozUp Enterprise Development Center (MozUp EDC) in collaboration with the government of Mozambique and the private sector.

ExxonMobil Increases Support of Internally Displaced People in Cabo Delgado PEMBA, Cabo Delgado – As part of the commitment to the development and wellbeing of the communities in which it operates, ExxonMobil Moçambique, Limitada announced the donation of essential food and hygiene products intended to benefit over 1200 internally displaced people in Cabo Delgado. The donation, procured from Pemba based suppliers, will provide packages for family comprised of cooking oil, rice, sardines, tea and includes s hygiene related goods.

ExxonMobil Promotes STEM Education with Osuwela and Universidade Eduardo Mondlane Maputo, Mozambique – ExxonMobil Moçambique, Limitada in partnership with Osuwela celebrated today the final of the Scholastic Robotics competition, “Astrobot”, in Maputo. The initiative provided months of robotics training for teachers and students of six different high schools around greater Maputo and culminated in the championship held on October 29 at Josina Machel School. The benefiting schools are: Francisco Manyanga, Maguanine, Josina Machel, Estrela Vermelha, Noroeste 1 and Laulane. The event was attended by the Minister of Education and Human Development, Carmelita Nhamashulua, as well as the National Director for Secondary Education, Gina Guibunda.

ExxonMobil supports Changalane Womens Farmer Association with clean cook stoves MAPUTO, MOZAMBIQUE – ExxonMobil Moçambique, Limitada announced its support for the pilot program that introduces smart and clean cook stoves to the Changalane Women’s Farmer Association (Women’s Association) in Maputo. The program is implemented by ADPP Mozambique in partnership with Mozambique Renewables Limited.

ExxonMobil distributes 25 tons of food in Cabo Delgado MAPUTO, Mozambique - ExxonMobil Moçambique, Limitada (ExxonMobil) announced the acquisition and subsequent donation of 25 tons of food to support internally displaced people in Cabo Delgado. The goods were acquired from local producers, Bufalo Ferido Association in Chokwe in Gaza Province and NIA organization in Niassa Province in partnership with the VAMOZ civil society volunteer organization.
