ExxonMobil supports Changalane Womens Farmer Association with clean cook stoves MAPUTO, MOZAMBIQUE – ExxonMobil Moçambique, Limitada announced its support for the pilot program that introduces smart and clean cook stoves to the Changalane Women’s Farmer Association (Women’s Association) in Maputo. The program is implemented by ADPP Mozambique in partnership with Mozambique Renewables Limited.

ExxonMobil distributes 25 tons of food in Cabo Delgado MAPUTO, Mozambique - ExxonMobil Moçambique, Limitada (ExxonMobil) announced the acquisition and subsequent donation of 25 tons of food to support internally displaced people in Cabo Delgado. The goods were acquired from local producers, Bufalo Ferido Association in Chokwe in Gaza Province and NIA organization in Niassa Province in partnership with the VAMOZ civil society volunteer organization.

ExxonMobil celebrates the graduation of 1,000 women in the Business Women Connect initiative MAPUTO, Mozambique – The ExxonMobil Foundation (ExxonMobil) celebrated a milestone of graduating 1000 women from Business Women Connect (BWC) initiative. Started in 2018, the initiative, led by TechnoServe, supports women micro entrepreneurs by promoting the use of formal savings and the adoption of good business practices.

ExxonMobil supports "Stop Malaria" in Mozambique MAPUTO, MOZAMBIQUE – ExxonMobil Moçambique, Limitada (EMML) in commemoration of World Malaria Day, announced the support for the “Stop Malaria” initiative implemented by Tchova Tchova Programs de Comunicação (TTPC). The initiative will run in Metuge, Cabo Delgado Province and will target the internally displaced community by disseminating information on malaria treatment and prevention, and the importance of hygiene and sanitation to community and public health.

ExxonMobil Foundation supports women empowerment MAPUTO, MOZAMBIQUE – The ExxonMobil Foundation announced it is contributing $300,000 to the Business Women Connect (BWC) initiative for the fourth year in Mozambique. Started in 2018, the initiative, led by Technoserve, is set to begin in Maputo while exploring further opportunities to expand to the north this year.
